偶の寻宝旅程: January 2008

..Mum and My Cooking Skill..

My mum was cooking and I was by her side become her private assistance. Once I back to KL, I decided to cook at home as well.. But the result........

Here are the food my mum cincai-ly cook, 3 dish 1 soup..

Fried Chicken, with orange juice sauce (that is my idea to use orange juice..haha..So she tried to make it and it taste real good.)

豆苗 (bean sprout?..) ..with garlic..

Onion Egg .. My dad loves to eat..

Fa shang lin ngao..花生莲藕汤..

..Now, try to compare with mine..3 dish 1 soup as well..

It looked terrible...My god..

This one is mushroom mushroom..Looked geli, but tasted ok de ler..

So, my mission is failed..

..Hometown Food..

Last time I went back to my hometown and have a chance taken a photo of my most favourite food.

'Gong Bou Diu Pin' in cantonese..'宫保吊片'. It is actually the squid cooked in gong bou style. If my friend going to my hometown, I sure will bring them to taste.

The shop name is 'hang fuk' '幸福'.. After eat that really got hang fuk feeling..waha..

..Crab..

Since small, I love to eat crab. I always asked my friends, where can I eat delicious crab..I was brought to few places to taste the crab. Thanks for those who are also crab lover.

There are places like,

1) Port Klang.

2) Wangsa Maju, porridge steamboat.
We have ordered some fresh-alive crab, and put into the porridge for few minutes. It tasted so fresh and delicious.

3) Sekinchan, crab beehoon.

4) Kepong. A hidden place. The crab is stolen my heart...

5) Bandar Puteri, Puchong. Steamboat and Crab BeeHoon.

1 KG crab there.. This is my favourite. The flavour have a bit spicy and suit my taste.

See, the meat was so BIG and FRESH~ ARmm!!!

Hmm..One day, I was discovering that I was suspected to have HIGH-BLOOD PRESSURE~..

..Coffee Bean in Pavilion..

I love coffee a lot.. No matter Nescafe, Coffee, Capaccino, Mocha, Java Chip..I love them all. Sometimes I will having coffee with friends in either StarBuck or Coffee Bean as other people would do. Everytime, I will enjoy the soft and peace environment in the cafe, listen to the soft music and drink a cup of coffee..Whoo.. ~.~

One day in the morning, I was having a cup of coffee at Coffee Bean in Pavilion with J since it near to my office.

A story after coffee time..
"
One day, siu jiok zai was telling his mom, 'Mummy mummy..I want to drink coffee at StarBuck ! I want to drink coffee at Coffee Bean as well !!..'

Siu jiok nai nai heard it, she got angry and scold siu jiok zai, 'What? Go such a brand shop to drink just a cup of kopii ar? Sure veli veli expenchive one..!! Jiok ar jiok..Don't let your son, my sat, gam dai sai..'

Siu jiok mum mum said, 'Guai zai..Don't try to imitate other people to pretend to be 'shiong dang yan 上等人' , pretend to be rich people. Guai har..'

..Sushi..

Still remember last time I was having sushi with LingLing at Malacca, after the meal, I felt like want to vomit.. After that experience, I was scared at Sushi.. >.<"

Until I met with J, who is a sushi lover as well, the fear feeling towards Sushi was vanished. J was bringing me to eat sushi at Sushi King, Sakae Sushi and blah blah.. Hmm..after few try, I started to accept the special taste of sushi..
